Walk/Run For Hope, Community Programs in the New York Tri-State Area

CancerCare’s Walk/Run For Hope events, taking place this fall in CT, NJ, and Long Island, help raise funds in support of our free services for anyone affected by cancer. Whether you plan to walk, run, volunteer or donate, your participation will make a difference for people facing cancer.

Our 2012 Walk/Run For Hope season kicks off on September 9 at picturesque Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT. This 5K (3.1 mile) event takes participants through Fairfield’s historic downtown on a USATF-certified course. To learn more and register, visit www.cancercare.org/walkct.

Walk/Run For Hope events continue on September 23 at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ, and on October 14 at The North Pavilion in Long Branch, NJ. New this year, we’ve added a certified 5K run! Visit www.cancercare.org/walknj to learn more and register.

CancerCare’s Walk/Run season will conclude on November 4 at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course in Woodbury, NY, with our 10th Annual Lung Cancer Walk for Hope. Read more at www.cancercare.org/lungcancerwalk.
